What is the cold mountain music festival?

This is an annual event benefiting the ministries of both Camp Henry and Lake Logan, both of which fall under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese of WNC. 

where is lake logan?

Lake Logan Conference Center is located in Haywood County, North Carolina and is a stunning 300-acre property just 30 miles from Asheville. The centerpiece of the property is a mile-long lake surrounded by the Shining Rock Wilderness area of the Pisgah National Forest. Lake Logan is also the home of Camp Henry, a Christian summer camp and leadership program. 

how can i buy tickets?

is camping permitted?

Yes! Details coming soon. We also offer hostel-style bunkhouse accommodations. Registration will be available online and by calling 828.646.0095.

is there a shuttle?

Yes! There will be shuttles from Asheville, Canton, and Waynesville. Details will be available soon.

will the festival have food & beverages?

Yes. We will host several food trucks along with beer and wine vendors. Please, no outside alcoholic beverages.  

what should i bring?

Please bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, cash (should you wish to purchase food or beverages), sunscreen, and sturdy shoes sufficient for outdoor terrain. 

what should i leave at home?

Unfortunately, we are not able to allow pets. Please leave Fido at home, along with any outside food or beverages. 

are kids permitted?

YES! This is a family-friendly event and we encourage you to bring children. In fact, kids ages 12 and younger get in free! In addition to Lake Logan's spacious outdoor recreation areas, we will offer a kid's area (planned by our Camp Henry staff!) for your enjoyment. 

what about parking?

If on-site parking is full when you arrive, you'll be directed to a shuttle location. There will not be any additional charge for parking. 

what time do gates open?

Gates open Friday at 1 pm and Saturday at 10 am. A full schedule will be posted at a later time.
